Understanding Student Work Refusal, Disengagement, and Defiance

Fast Break and SBC had a collaborative virtual presentation on November 16th to discuss the following topics:

  • How to identify the signs that a child may be becoming upset, overwhelmed, or shutting down & responding appropriately before they become fully activated.

  • Learn strategies to utilize when a student refuses to engage in a session.
